British Muslim Adoption Project
children needs are very basic yet very demanding, it is quite normal for a child to have parents, family, home, love, care, comfort, but every child born in Briton are not lucky unfortunately there are many u unfortunate children in Briton who has none of above and very little hope and require great amount of luck tofind one else were especially for Muslim faith children in Briton.
If you ask a British Muslim about adoption, before any reply is made, there will probably be a moment of hesitation “I’m not sure if my religion would allow it’. Many Muslims are not aware of the Islamic stance on matters such as adoption
There is not a single independent Muslim adoption agency in existence in Britain, Faithand culture should be viewed as positive factors in our society, as this is one of requirement to be taken in to consideration when assessing child needs, this is within the children's Act 1989.
Training programs;
Our training programs by expert qualified and experience social workers for recruitment’s of prospective adoptiveparents and experts speakers from Islamic prospective are not just aiming to run adoption awareness programs but to add resources for children waiting to be adoptive in public care. We aim to provide religious guidance and support for those non Islamic faith and who have children placed with them who are from Muslim faith.
We are not an Adoption Agency and we are not considering due to our current financial situation, However it is within our action plan for year 2012/13 to registering with Ofsted.once we found funding authority for our project and along with the approval status and registration process completed with Ofsted. www.ofsted.gov.uk

We are certain and hopeful that there are hundreds of Muslim couples and families who are ready and willing to adopt a child if they were aware of the current problems. Community’s awareness of this problem needs to be address first, andthen the supply of adoptive parents can increase significantly.
This issue of shortage of adoptive family affect all British in Britons including Muslims and the social responsibility of understanding this topic is as deep as understanding any other social problem
Adoption would most likely provide a child with more love, better nurture and brighter opportunities then say an orphanage could provide. Physical and emotional needs are fulfilled bringing contentment to both child and adopting family.
There are Shariah implications for a Muslims family or couple wanting to adopt a child, for example over inheritance, intermingling at home and recognising family lineage, but none of these implications are serious enough to prevent Muslims from adopting.
There are approximately 4,000 young children waiting to be adopted with a further 49,600 in foster care, of which approximately 10,000 are from Black, Asian or other ethnic minorities’ backgrounds. visit our website for more information at www.muslimcare.info
